Our Model

Dual-counselor approach combines the expertise of a college counselor who is a former admissions officer and an essay editor, allows us to provide the most professional consulting services and effective communication throughout the application process.
- The Counselor/Assistant Essay Editor: former admissions officer with extensive experience in the field, brings invaluable expertise and insight into the admissions process, provides guidance on building a competitive profile, selecting suitable universities, and navigating the application process.
- Essay Editor: Background in writing and rich experience in college admission writing.
Our Logic
We understand that there is no one-size-fits-all formula for top schools. Instead, we believe in creating personalized strategies tailored to each student's unique characteristics and strengths. By identifying and emphasizing the student's application theme, we help them craft a compelling narrative that aligns with their chosen schools.
To provide such a service, BosonEd relies on a team of senior, professional, and service-minded counselors. Our counselors possess in-depth knowledge of the admission and processes of selective schools. They are skilled in quickly and accurately understanding the unique characteristics of each applicant and developing customized application planning strategies that align with their individual themes.
85% students have been admitted to their top three choice schools.
97% students have been admitted to top 45 colleges.

Insider Insight from a Former Admissions Officer: Cracking Each Student's "Admission Formula"
Getting into a top school starts with understanding what admissions officers are really looking for, something most college counselors simply haven't experienced firsthand. Our founder, Katia, spent years working inside admissions offices at both private and public universities, rising from admissions officer to director of admissions. She's also a member of IACAC (International Association for College Admission Counseling) and HECA (Higher Education Consultants Association). That insider experience lets her read each student clearly — their age, academic stage, goals, personality — and build a personalized plan around them. No two students ever get the same "application formula."
Two Advisors, One Student: Real Attention, Not Just a Service
Every student works with two dedicated advisors. A college counselor: a former admissions officer, builds out the overall strategy to make the application as competitive as possible. An essay counselor, graduates of a top universities with rich experience in both education counseling and writing, helps turn the student's essays into their strongest asset. We believe that educational consulting is, above all, a service. That's why we make sure give every student real, undivided attention. It's this kind of close, ongoing relationship that builds trust, makes the process genuinely enjoyable, provide an exceptional application experience, and sets students up for what comes next.
From Strategy to Execution
Successful college admissions counseling requires both thoughtful planning and flawless execution. Plenty of families understand what needs to happen, but when it comes time to actually get it done, a lack of resources or hands-on experience can turn a 90-point plan into a 60-point outcome. At BosonEd, we have an extensive network of resource and partnerships to close that gap, so our plans don't just sit on paper. We see them through, making sure a 100-point plan becomes a 100-point result.
